...someone was asking about the real Rohn rotor shelf - there is
currently one on eBay with a good picture showing the necessary hole for
lowering a mast when you have a Christmas tree... for the unfamiliar,
the side of the hole that is kind square is where the terminal strip on
the underside of a Ham-X rotor goes allowing you to access the terminals
with the rotor in place (although I personally prefer the quick
