I think I have the solution: kinetic sculpture! Ok, who is going to be the
first to get an endowment from the National Endowment for the Arts to build
a 200' kinetic art sculpture?
BTW, I got my FAA opinion allowing me to go to 70'. The rights of the 5
people that use a nearby 3500' grass strip outweigh my rights to go to 200'.
At least my county (Lake County, Florida) has a fairly well written tower
ordinance (amateurs are exempt from 98% of it- 100' allowed in residential
areas; 200' in rural areas on 5+ acres; tower must be set back far enough
that if it falls, it does so completely on the owner's property; no plans
review required.)
