    Depends on the application. 6061-T6 aluminum only has 35,000 psi yield 
strength - too little for many applications but okay for smaller ones; i.e. 
vhf/uhf stuff.
    Aggressive HF antennas on a mast would need 65,000 psi yield and higher.
