[TowerTalk] Old Coax connectors

Silver plated will look like tarnished silver, nickel will be bright almost 
chrome looking unless corroded then looks much less pretty than tarnished 
silver.  Previous post was correct in the fact that silver oxide is a very good 
conductor and will cause no problem.  What are the inside insulators made of 
are they white, clear, Bakelite looking?
