Probably just became a moot point. County just adopted an ordinance stating
that ANY tower must have. . . well let me quote:

1. There is hereby adopted an interim application process on the issuance
of developmental orders, ,land use changes, and building or other permits
for the construction and maintenance of monopole, lattice tower, or other
wireless telecommunications antennae or tower facilities and related
facilities. The County shall continue to accept applications for
development orders, land use changes, and building permits for the
installation and construction of monopole, lattice tower, or other wireless
telecommunications antennae or tower facilities and related facilities,
subject however, to the provisions of this ordinance.

2. All such applications shall be accompanied by an application fee of
$8,500.00, which shall be used by the county to defray the costs to the
county of processing any such application.

READ THAT AGAIN 8,500 dollars.

That is the extent of the ordinance everything else is just white wash.
There are no exemptions. nothing on height etc. If I am reading this
correctly I can't even put a guyed push-up mast up without going through all
this rigmarole.

Can someone provide me a definition of wireless telecommunications. I am
pretty sure that my GMRS system falls within that criteria.

Thanks for the input
