At least in Version 5.1 of 4NEC2, which I have, the only thing it will do
is to generate an INPUT file for VOACAP et al, which are the programs
available under the ITSHF rubric. That's quite a lot, but falls short of
the sort of integration Jim seeks. Arie's note says that the other things
are in work. MultiNEC already has the ability to generate input files from
real antennas and link to VOACAP/VOAAREA on the fly. Very cool.
At the risk of self-horn-blowing, people might want to take a look at my
Dayton 2003 presentation which summarizes the state-of-the-art in
relatively low-cost or free antenna evaluation software -- specifically,
HFTA, MultiNEC, 4NEC2 and VOACAP. It can be viewed on line (high-speed
connection recommended) or downloaded as a Powerpoint file from
www.pvrc.org -- look under "News" in the bottom half of the home page. All
the URLs for downloading this software -- most of it is free -- are in the
presentation.
