If rust does become a problem it is easily remedied by a trip to Home Depot.
They have several rust removal solutions which can be bought for around $7 a
gallon. It is safe for just about any surface. Here in FL it is common to
have iron in the well water and these products work without any rubbing or
scrubbing....wipe on, rust disolves.
It also works for rust stains on towers.
