Well, we tested the C-3 (a C-4XL is a C-3 plus 2 elements on 40) for our
tribander comparison report - it played very well. The report was just
reviewed by LB Cebik, W4RNL, in the April QST. It's available from <A
HREF="http://www.championradio.com";>www.championradio.com</A>.
My impression with the 40M portion is that the linear loaded 40M works
reasonably well.
