Over the years I have felt the TH6 is one of the biggest bargains in ham
radio, with fully functional used ones going for $100-$150. Especially with
the price of new tribanders going sky high lately! I have always found that
used tribanders sell pretty sluggishly and don't bring high prices, though
the last TH7 or two that I saw change hands went for more like $350. The
TH-11 would probably do a little better too. I've seen several A3
tribanders go for $100 and I'd say TA-36s would be about $50-$100. Cheap!
Aluminum tubing, which has gotten expensive too, would cost more than this.

I have also had very poor success selling used HF antennas at hamfests,
though I have tried a number of times. Most hams seem to prefer to buy new
on an item like this, or don't trust used ones, and/or most hams aren't on
HF but are only on VHF/UHF. It gets pretty old getting up at oh-dark-thirty
with a big pile of aluminum on top of the truck and having little interest
in it all day, despite a low pricetag, and dragging it back home again.

I used a TH6 for years and at 100' did often beat local big guns with
monobanders on longhaul DX but regularly got thrashed to the Caribbean by
everyone with a 30' high antenna on a chimney mount.
