Yield strength is a materials spec.  Both Schedule 80 and 40 are the
same material--so their material yield strength is the same.  But the
actual load they can handle is a function not only of the material yield
strength but also the wall thickness and diameter.  You need all three
to calculate the capabilty of a mast.
