[Towertalk] Disassembling A4 elements

I recently purchased a used A4 and D3W. I managed to bring the elements home
in 1 piece as they were strapped to the side of a 50 ft crankup! Wish I had
pictures as it was a sight to see.

Now I want to disassemble the elements and clean it all up before I put it
up. Unfortunately they won't untelescope. The antenna does not look in bad
shap but the elements won't budge.

Suggestions Please.
