| Howdy, TowerTalkians --
    I'd like your feedback on a couple of questions. The antenna is a Hy-Gain 
DX-77 and it's mounted about 20-25 feet above the ground.
1) Is it too high to work effectively (for a vertical)? The book says 7 feet 
elevation is recommended. 
2) If I want to add some radials, should they be connected to the mast 
support (insulated from the antenna) or to the bottom counterpoises where the 
shield is hooked?
