I have not seen a reply to your post yet.
You really want a person per guy to go up to 70'. I have done it with just one
other person and it can really get hairy. Now mind you I have put these things
up quite a few times and am not put off by some serious deflection in the mast
(a good five feet or more). Without the extension kit it is no issue
whatsoever to do by yourself. The extension kit puts you over the edge with
any reasonable antenna.
By the way the wear out mechanism I have seen predominately are the hinge pins
in the brake locking lever. Watch for that.
