I have a 160 m dipole in an inverted "L" configuration fed with 450 ohm ladder line up 75 ft. I was wondering if it would be worth it to construct a 1/4 "T" ground plane. It would have a vertical section of 65 ft. and a top horizontal section of about 35 ft on each side. I'll be able to start with a simple radial system 4-8 radials. Would this help my transmit DX performance? Any thoughts--Thanks Peter KJ7WY |
