Hey guys, I got a new digital camera, so I will be posting photos from N5OT until the novelty wears off. I recall a discussion a while ago about cutting aluminum. I had to cut a 3" x .125" boom this morning, so I shot a photo of the set-up so you can see the 10" Mikita chop saw with a well used 20 carbide-tooth blade. The saw is bolted to the bench, and I use a shop-vac to minimize the chips, then eye and ear protection. Like butter. http://home.swbell.net/swca/radio/saw.jpg Mark, N5OT |
