The CQ article I mentioned yesterday is "Tower Considerations When Using Side Arms" by Dick Weber, PE, K5IU in the July issue on p. 11. The blurb says "...this is about a potentially fatal flaw in some towers that could lead to their collapse in even a moderate wind. If you have a tower with side arms, this article is required reading."
