Was this 6-pack purchased new?  Can you be certain 
that nobody has ever "cleaned" the contacts with 
anything abrasive?  This would cause this kind of 
problem as well.

Not sure the type of relay in the 6-pack - if it is 
same as the ones in the Stackmatches, they can be 
bought from Digikey (not sure that helps you) for $2 a 
piece (if you have doubts about their being abused).
