[Towertalk] LOOKING FOR IDEAS ON DISASSEMBLING ANTENNA ELEMENTS

Gentlemen,

I'm in the process of upgrading a kt34xa to a  kt36xa. This involves =
disassembling the element tips. 8 of the 10 element halves came apart =
without any trouble even though the antenna has been up for 20 years. =
However, there are 2 element halves that just can not be separated. I've =
pulled and twisted, used plenty of penetrating oil and no luck. Tried =
using a heating gun and still no luck.

Any hints or secrets out there how to separate the element pieces? Any =
penetrating oil superior to others?
