Hello T-T'ers;
I very much prefer "solid braid" nylon rope. I would advise
getting a minimum 3/8" diameter rope, although 1/2"
diameter would be much better.
One of the reasons why I like solid braid nylon rope is
because it's very easy on the hands. Another thing is that
due to the rope's propensity for stretching, one doesn't
need to have a load raised up to exactly the right position.
The rope usually has stretched enough where one can
supply the added push and raise the load up a little more
(or lower it more, as the case may be).
