I often wonder if I am the only one who is experiencing difficulty in attending
during May. For the past several years, I have
either been unable to attend or had to make substantial re-adjustments to my
calander to meet the date in May. I never had this
trouble in April, but then the weather becomes a significant factor. An
example for the past two years was my obligation in
attending high school graduation ceremonies for family members. It just seems
that some important personal milestone shows up
during May.

The attendance at Dayton really looked down this year. One big indication was
the number of cars in my motel's parking lot. In past
years, the lot was full. This year there were plenty of parking spaces.
