Hi Steve, I use the MFJ 259 and hook up a capacitor of known value ( usually I use 100pf ) in series with the inductor and measure the resonant frequency. You will see a sharp dip in the resistance at resonance. You can the calculate the inductance from the frequency that the dip occurs at. gl es 73 Steve, VE3TU |
