Before one drools about renting tower space for $700.00 to some
communications company, consider what happens if you ever have to sell
the land for whatever reason (divorce, death of a spouse, job transfer,
etc).
Your land may lose considerable value because the new owner does not
want a tower on their property. Most communications company will want a
long term lease, and if you terminate it early because you want to take
down the tower so you can sell the property, get ready to get sued big
time.
I was on a web site looking at huge antenna farm and in fine print it
said it was no longer in existence due to divorce. Things do happen.
