Why not try omega- or gamma-matching the boom after extending it with
small-diameter tubing? You could even use some fiberglass poles out of
the boom, running wire down them to the end .. and then dropping enough
wire vertically downward from the ends of the fiberglass poles to total
the length you need for resonance.
12 and 14 foot fiberglass poles are available .. and they're quite
lightweight, compared to aluminum the same length/diameter.
This would be able 55 feet of total boom/extensions [shame it's not
more!] and then whatever lengths of wire do resonate.
Anybody able to model this arrangement?
