My alligator clips have been out there for about 15 years.
They are totally rusty, but this is a low current part of
the antenna so they continue to work ok. One of these days
the spring will break, and then I'll put on a new alligator
clip. Put the jumper/alligator clip on the CW extension,
so it's totally out of the picture on SSB.
