I am looking at a March 1961 issue of QST and the Hornet ad for the
TB1000, TB750, and TB500. The price then was $89.75, $69.95, and $59.95
respectively. You could also pay monthly on the time payment plan!!
Check those traps before putting 1kw into the TB500!
Gotham had tribanders for 6-10-15 and 10-15-20. The price was $39.95
and $49.95. These were full sized beams without coils or traps.
Oh, the good old days!
I had the TB500 on a piece of water pipe at 25 feet with an "armstrong"
rotor and worked the world on am with a Viking Valiant and SX100.
