Went to a local hamfest yesterday -- you know the kind where there are
about 25 cars in the flea market... I figured it would be a waste of time
but then in the middle of a bunch of junk I saw the familiar shape of small
prop pitch motor...no rust...still kinda shiny looking...mounted in a large
square piece of iron. "How much?", I asked...expecting to hear $200 or
more. I didn't hesitate -- or even bargain -- when the guy said $25. Got
it home and she turns ever so smoothly and quietly. "Ain't life grand?"
(Sorry for the bandwidth...but I had to tell somebody and I know the tower
talkers are the only ones who would appreciate it...and no, I don't want to
sell it...) 73 de Greg-N4CC
