IF you plan on putting more than one antenna on your mast,
you would be well advised to place your top set of guys closer
to the TOP of the tower.  The new Rohn catalog assumes you
need an 8 ft clearance for a dish at the top, NOT the kind of
installation used by most amateurs.

FWIW, one of the locals lost his top section of R45 plus 
F12 6L20 and 3L40 when the upper plate broke loose in
high winds.  There was a questionable weld that pulled
apart contributing to this failure, but having the top guys
8 ft below his tall mast did not help.
