There is something interesting afoot here. Look at the ads for trap
antennas. There are precious few antennas which are rated more than
1500 watts PEP. Under the old rules for power output they used to
have to handle 2000 w PEP. It appears that the manufacturers have
forgotten that there is CW, RTTY and other higher duty cycle modes
than SSB. Either that of they don't care that many don't know that
duty cycle is important and that selling razor blades is more
profitable than selling razors.
That only leaves quads, full sized yagis and linearly loaded antennas
for the nos-SSB brethren.
