Some time ago, W4ZWE made an insulated feed
40M rotary dipole using PVC insulators. If I remember
correctly, one type of PVC failed under application of RF
while another did not. I'm thinking the white PVC failed
and the black held up but it could be backwards. Anybody
else experience this phenomenon?
