Anybody out there successfully used stepper motors to power variable
caps in remote tuners? The ability to have good
precision/repeatability seems idea. Chief problem seems to be
obtaining one with enough torque.
Have a BASIC stamp which evidently allows one to generate the proper
signals.

I've used 110 VAC selsyns to turn variable capacitors and rotary inductors
and stepping motors to rotate switches without a problem. Switchs are easy
to turn and variables and rotary inductor are easy to turn if you grease them
up with silcone grease. What is the problem? k7gco.
