Add concrete contractor to dig holes and build rebar cages, concrete at $90
a yard, coax, rotator, rotor cable, connectors, mast, crane rental, and
erection crew, I guess my $10K swag was a tad low. Then you get to buy and
install antennas for maybe another $2K-$3K. Astounding how fast it adds up.
:-) I expect to have better than $6K in this little 80 footer by the time
it pumps out some RF. OTOH, I've put up with a little tribander at 30' for
years, so it's finally payback time.
