Peter if your winter Wx is any thing like mine avoid LL like the plague. You
could use standard CC loading coils on a home brew yagi and not be that much
down on a full size element yagi. It is better to have -1db 100% of the time
than have linear loading fall apart when the wind blows at 80mph+.
