Jim,
Make sure you know which version of the antenna you are getting. There
was a heavy duty boom option for the 40M4 in which the thin wall 3" O.D. boom
sections are replaced with 1/4" wall x 3" O.D. tubing for the entire length of
the
42' boom. This version of the antenna weighs around 160 pounds, as opposed to
85 lbs for the standard boom antenna.
