sometime ago I was tooling around the net and found a very nice document on
guy wires and tower systems. If I recall properly the author used FEA to
detail the effects of cable size and type (steel vs philly), winds,
placement, loading, and mounting. It talked of stretch (which made me
conclude that I did not want to use Philly) among other things.
Unfortunately I cannot find this document again. Any help out there?
