Hi Nat,
Just to set the record straight, K3LR is almost in Western Ohio, and almost
200
miles west of 'LPL. Also the 4EL 40M Yagis really don't add much to the
gain,
since they are almost on the same boomlength as Frank's. The design
consists
of a close first director to flatten VSWR across the band.
If I had my choice where to operate from geographically, I surely choose MD
any day :-)
