Why dont home brew them, in doing so one might learn
lots of things during the process.

These prices of these antennas are dfinitely far too high. I just bought
second hand Hy-Gain antennas (204s and 115s). After some browsing on
swap
lists you can find 205s too. 204s are available for 175 - 250 USD and
they
are the best quality ever made. (They are from old Hygain-plant in W0).
My proposal: Get second-hand HyGain antennas and spend 2-3 hours
refurbishing them if needed.
