And not just in domestic contests, IMO. Radiation off the back can do a
lot to keep your frequency clear in DX contests, too. Living in N. Cal, he
can at least keep those guys down south off his back. On the east coast,
an antenna that you don't have to turn to work the easy Caribbean and SA
multipliers is a true joy as well.
