I've had fair success doing SOME dipper-type tasks with my MFJ
analyzer by building a series circuit of 50ohm (non inductive)
resistor, coil, and capacitor. Tune for resonance (SWR will be 1.0)
and get out the calculator to compute the missing values. For
example, to find an unknown inductance, use a known capacitance.
For actual tests of a parallel L-C circuit, I've still got my OLD but
wonderful Millen? 8>)
