Thanks to all that helped make recommendations and suggestions with regard
to the push-up masting for my C3. I got a page from the YL that things were
not happy in WhoLand. Our local herd of elk decided that today would be a
most excellent time to wander through my yard. I don't know what possesed
them as I don't think nylon is within the elk's 4 basic food groups, but
they decided that it might be tasty enough to nibble on...#&^($^#(!!!
At a hight approx 4' from the ground, the 3 guys were snacked through.
Gravity, waiting in the wings did it's best along with the tensioned guy
opposite the chewed one. The fall of the C3 & mast was broken by a pine
tree, as were a 10m and 15m element. Colliding lickity splat with the ground
took care of the 20m elements. #*&(@ #(&@!!! Total damaged sections: 8.

Can anyone make any recommendations for getting parts in the Denver area. I
don't want to miss operating this weekend's contest, and working DX through
the vertical is close to useless from here.
