Really? I've been in correspondence with Cushcraft about my R7000, which
hasn't met factory specifications since I installed it in 1996. Cushcraft
advised me that trap CT1 may be defective, and they want $60+ for a
replacement. When I asked if I could dip trap CT1 to ensure it was
defective, I was told:
"We do not offer the resonant frequencies of our traps as part of our
Technical Support Service."
So, it seems this policy is selectively enforced.
