You mean total mast length or mast sticking out of the tower? It's
been my limited experience that you need at least 10 feet of spacing for an
XM240 and more would be better.

for the boom guys and how much in the tower for rotor assuming Rohn 45G, a rotor
sitting on a plate and two thrust bearings, one above the rotor and one at the
top of the tower?
p.s. We have two old Tail Twisters. Can a TT turn those two antennas? We will
have one rebuilt if it is usable.
