A further note on Steve's comments about serving EHS cables: Rohn calls for
using three forged (ie: not malleable) cable clamps when terminating guy
cables. When you price the forged clamps the cost is higher than the Big
Grips. When you consider the added time to serve the cable ends it is no
wonder no one uses the old serve the cable method any longer. Aside from the
time to serve the cable, you can terminate a guy with a big grip in a
fraction of the time needed to install clamps. The grips turn out to be win,
win, win situation.
