Hi All: Yous guys are just a bunch of pikers when it comes to building poor beams ;-0 I once built a 26 foot quagi for 2 meters. Great big thing with many elements. Radiated best off the back side of it. F/B was -10 db on air. A vertical ringo ranger had more "gain" than the front end! I sure am glad the wind took it apart 3 days after I put it up, that way I didn't look quite so foolish. -- 73 es have fun Peter VE6YC DO21wc __________________________________________________________ Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity. __________________________________________________________ -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/towertalkfaq.html Submissions: towertalk@contesting.com Administrative requests: towertalk-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-towertalk@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search.htm |
