Jim - Check out the electrical dept at Home Depot (they are in HI,
aren't they?) As I recall 8 ft copper rods were abt $10, and
Galvanized rods were abt $4, last time I was there. The gurus say
use copper in alkaline soil and galvanized in acid soil for best
