Don't expect to get any service from Yaesu either. Two years ago I bought a
G-800 for a Mosley Pro-67B. It quit working about 2 weeks after the install.
I bought a second
G-800 and returned the first rotor. In a couple of weeks, I received a
letter form Yaesu requesting a $74 dollars bench fee. They said my rotor was
hit by lightening and not covered. I was not a happy camper. The second
rotor went out in December of last year. I called all the repair places and
they said they could not get parts for Yaesu so I decided to work on the
rotor myself. The third week in December I ordered a Pot that should cost
no more than $5 but Yaesu wanted $23. They said it was in stock but they
were taking inventory and I would not get it until the first week in Jan.
The last time I checked, they said I would get the part the first of March.

I changed from a Tailtwister to the Yaesu G-1000SDX and it fails to rotate,
more than 25-30 degrees. It is turnning a Mosley PRO-57 and I bought this
because I was tired of the constant TX2 failures. Located in S.E. Wisconsin
the winter gets to be a treat and it's warm in summer. This failed in
summer. I have purchased another G-100SDX, just under $500.00 and hope that
this is just a fluke. A friend of mine has a G-800S , the bsic model and
the control box has gone sour. Not good and not impressed. I hope to get my
rotor down to send them both in to Yaesu for a Economical repair
