Just went and looked at my lanyards. By golly they do have two spring
mechanisms at each end making it impossible to open the front of the hook
without first depressing the back latch and then pushing on the front
latch. Looks like I'm up to current state of the art. A picture paints a
thousand words sure holds true with this stuff.
