Has anyone installed a US tower MA550 w/motor drive as a totally
free-standing installation? The specs call for a house bracket and I am not
in a position to install it near a house or , in fact, have guy wires. I
live on an off-shore sea 1sland in a high wind area and will leave the tower
cranked down when not in use and will not raise it in a wind above 25 MPH.
The antenna will be a Force 12 C3 with approximately 6.5 sq feet. Any
details (amount of concrete, etc. would be appreciated.
