[TowerTalk] Cushcraft AR10 tuning stub

Hi,
The 16" coaxial tuning stub on my 10 meter Cushcraft AR10 vertical was
fried recently by lightening. I want to make a replacement. Can anyone tell
me if the stub is OPEN or SHORTED? Can't tell from looking at this crispy
critter, but I assume it's open.
