I have a 72 foot UST crankup tower. I have a TH7DX on it rite now. I =
also have a R7 vertical mounted on my roof. Not a big blaster of course, =
but it does have it's uses. A freind wants me to mount it on top of the =
mast on the tower. I wrote to Cushcraft and asked them about it. They =
suggested 10-12 feet between the two.=20
I wonder If anyone has tried this with less than 10 feet between. =
Wonder what interaction would come into play? Seems to me that with a =
vertical and a horizontal antenna they would not have any problems =
together. But who knows?
Question #2 I have a E.F Johnson low pass filter. But pretty old. I =
do not have any info on this thing. The only numbers on it are 250/20. =
It is adjustable, and seems to work fine at about 150 watts. Does anyone =
know how much power this creature will handle? It looks pretty hefty =
inside, but don't want to throw 1500 watts at it and end up with a pile =
of cinders. HI!=20
Any help on either of these would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
