       What kind of sealing jobs?

After observing the results of Scotchkote left exposed to UV over
several years (it dries up and flakes off), I would recommend using Liquid
Electrical Tape as the final coating on a coax joint. LET is UV resistant.

My 3M catalog says that Scotchkote "provides a tough, oil resistant
outer seal on electrical insulation. Use for splices on underwater cables or
in high moisture applications". It doesn't say anything about its UV
tolerance. I think that it was designed primarily for buried applications.

      Champion Radio Products carries both.
